Fall 2017

It's great to have everyone back again!

We have already started into our very busy year with sports, leadership groups, We Day, the Moosonee trip, and of course classes. Parents, please feel free to contact me by email anytime. I will do my best to get back to you as soon as possible.

Grade 8 is a year of transition. Not only are we trying to cover our curriculum expectations, we are preparing students for high school next year. They will be expected to take on more responsibilities such as organizing their time and work. Agendas and homework are reviewed each day and students are expected to develop a system that works for them.

We have gym class on days 2 and 4 and we will be going outside as often as possible. Please make sure that each student has proper footwear and comfortable clothing.
I am looking forward to a wonderful and productive year. Let the learning begin!

Orange Shirt Day!!   Friday September 22 is Orange Shirt Day in the spirit of Reconciliation. Students are asked to wear an orange shirt in honour of residential school survivors.
